These are the Starting Points and Aims for the 4 levels that we classify our swimmer's swimming abilities...
Starting Points & Aims...
LEVEL 1 Beginner (Learn to Swim)
Swimming: cannot swim 25m
Kicking: cannot kick faster than 1min40 for 50m
Breathing: major trouble with
Position: head very high, fatigues very quickly
Feeling: tentative, very nervous
AIM learn effective Position & Breathing to begin swimming continuous lengths.
LEVEL 2___Advanced-Beginner (Swim Lessons)
Swimming: can swim up to 100m Continuous but stops after that
Kicking: cannot kick faster than 1min25 for 50m (a one-off sprint)
Speed: of Freestyle: slower than 1min30 per 50m Freestyle
Strokes: >25 per length (single lengths)
AIM learn to enhance Breathing & Balance and speed your swimming up
LEVEL 3 Intermediate (Swim Technique)
Swimming: can swim up to 300m but is tiring and inefficient
Kicking: cannot kick faster than 1min10 for 50m (a one-off sprint)
Intervals: of Freestyle: slower than 1min15 per 50m Freestyle repetition
Strokes: >20 per length (single lengths) and >25 (continuous lengths)
AIM learn skills to speed you up, swim Intervals, and learn other strokes
LEVEL 4 Advanced (Swim Training with Technique)
Swimming: can swim over 1000m but inefficiently
Kicking: cannot kick faster than 1min00
Intervals: slower than 1min00 per 50m repetition (with say rest of 20)
Strokes: >18 per length (single lengths) and >22 (continuous lengths)
AIM swimming up to 3000m with range of variation in both Speed & Skill
